Escola Manuel de Pedrolo - ZER Les Salines

Escola Manuel de Pedrolo is a public school located in Biure that is part of the ZER Les Salines, an association that brings together the schools of Biure, Boadella i les Escaules, and Maçanet de Cabrenys. The center offers early childhood and primary education and has a dining service.

The activities at the center are organized around its own projects and dynamics. The Correcull project combines the discovery of the environment with actions to care for the environment, such as waste collection during outings. In the playground, a free play area known as the Cuineta del Roure has been set up, and one day a week, the playground moves to the Sala, with a monthly themed day dedicated to "pati sobre rodes".

Throughout the school year, traditions and celebrations such as Castanyada, Sant Jordi, Maig Cultural, and Dijous Gras are worked on, some of which involve family participation, as well as activities in English related to festivities such as Halloween.
