Escola de Benifallet - ZER Riu i Serra

The Escola de Benifallet is part of the ZER Riu i Serra, a grouping of rural schools that includes the centers of Aldover, Benifallet, and Paüls. It is a public institution that offers Early Childhood Education, both in its first cycle (0-3 years) and in the second cycle (3-6 years), as well as Primary Education (6-12 years). The vehicular language of the center is Catalan.

The educational project of the ZER includes its own digital strategy and shared activities among the three schools, such as the Trobada ZER, a day of coexistence that brings together students and teachers from the different centers. The school develops projects and activities that cover areas such as the English language, with proposals like the Easter Egg Hunt; the school garden, with the planting and care of sunflowers; and literary and artistic projects, including participation in the Jocs Florals Escolars de Catalunya and works on artistic figures. Activities are also carried out in collaboration with families, such as the preparation and explanation of stories by Early Childhood Education students, and learning proposals in environments in which children from I1 to first grade participate. The center also organizes outings and end-of-year activities in natural settings.
