El Ratolinet is a private early childhood education school for the first cycle (0 to 3 years) located in the Sants neighborhood, in the Barcelona district of Sants-Montjuïc. The center is part of the network of European Eco-Schools and its educational project, called Baby Brain Neurodevelopment, is endorsed by the Generalitat de Catalunya. This project stimulates neurodevelopment by combining various pedagogies (Montessori, Pikler, Reggio Emilia, and Charlotte Mason) and works on children's development in the neuromotor, neurosensory, neurocognitive, and neuroemotional areas. The environment and materials are natural, with a garden and ecological toys, sustainable wooden facilities, recycled plastic, and cardboard.

The center develops its own English immersion project (English Immersion), which introduces the sounds of this language through play, daily routines, and music. Each classroom has two pedagogical tutors and a support teacher, and daily work includes multiple intelligences through play, fine motor skills, experimentation, music, storytelling, habits, and sports, in a calm environment. Emotions are worked on weekly with the teachers and psychopedagogues at the center. The natural playground is used as a learning space, with a forest classroom where outdoor activities such as Pikler psychomotricity, body painting, yoga, and ecological gardening take place. Specific activities also include swimming, English, and the celebration of traditional festivals, as well as educational and cultural outings.

The school offers a dining service with its own kitchen, where food is prepared daily and adapted to the needs of children and families, including vegetarian and vegan options. The menu is supervised by a pediatric nutritionist, adjusts to seasonal foods, and follows a model of ecological agriculture and food with local suppliers. The center's hours are from 9:00 to 17:00, and a welcome service is offered from 8:00 to 9:00 and from 17:00 to 18:00. The dining and rest service runs from 12:00 to 13:00, with a break until 15:00. The adaptation of children and families is carried out individually and respecting each one's pace.
