Escola Can Clos

Escola Can Clos is a public center for early childhood and primary education in Barcelona, with the motto "We grow together every day." It offers early childhood education in its two cycles, from 0 to 3 and from 3 to 6 years, and primary education, from 6 to 12 years, including English among its teachings. It has a school cafeteria service and an AFA (Parents' Association).

In the early childhood education stage, the center aims to provide children with an enriched and safe environment for their integral development, using play as the main form of learning, along with experimentation, manipulation of materials, and interaction with other children and adults. It works on habits and routines to promote the autonomy and confidence of the students. The day includes a relaxed entry and exit, where families can accompany children in the classroom until 9 a.m., moments of conversation to work on oral expression and group cohesion, learning proposals with manipulative materials, and a course project around the class name. The center also has a garden, which is used to introduce children to the life cycle of plants, sustainability, and respect for the environment.

The center uses the Moodle platform and publishes an internal newsletter under the name "El Mussol." Among the activities listed on its website are math days, cooperative games, giant games with students from another school, planting and reading in the garden with families, and the end-of-year party organized by the AFA.
