Josep Tous

Josep Tous is a semi-private school in Barcelona, of a religious, Catalan, inclusive, and empowering nature. Its educational project works on curricular content without neglecting emotional education, with the aim of transforming the classroom into a space of creation, respect, and academic rigor. Among its academic projects are the promotion of reading, pedagogical innovation, and personalized attention, which the center considers one of the pillars of its educational project. In the Secondary stage, a proprietary radio project is also consolidated.

The center offers early childhood education (first and second cycle), primary education, compulsory secondary education (ESO), and Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18). The ESO is structured into four courses and caters to adolescents aged 12 to 16; its proposal seeks to accompany, stimulate, and maximize the development of students' abilities, fostering their intellectual curiosity, critical spirit, and collaborative attitude. To this end, it employs methodologies such as project-based learning and problem-based learning, which reinforce the learning of instrumental subjects such as languages and mathematics. The center works with Spanish, Catalan, English, and German.

Regarding services, it offers morning and afternoon care for all students, a cafeteria that encourages autonomy and interest in healthy eating, and swimming, understood as a fundamental part of the learning and development process. It also has extracurricular activities and school transport. The school focuses on the well-being of families.
