Lestonnac

Lestonnac School in Barcelona is a private subsidized center by the Generalitat de Catalunya, owned by the Order of the Company of Mary N.S. It is located in the L'Eixample district of Barcelona. It offers early childhood education, primary education, compulsory secondary education (ESO), Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18), International Baccalaureate, as well as vocational training (FP) at intermediate and higher levels. Its educational proposal includes the use of Spanish, Catalan, and English, and is oriented towards pedagogical innovation, training, and the comprehensive development of students, with an education in values and the experience of faith.

In the early childhood education stage, which covers ages 3 to 6, the center proposes daily family entry into the school, flexible hours, and relaxed entry, as well as the presence of two teachers in the classroom during the adaptation period. Work is organized through projects, learning environments, work corners, science and experimentation classrooms, green classrooms, and cooperative work, with attention to habits and personal autonomy. English is taught with seven weekly sessions, linguistic immersion, and conversation assistants, through stories, workshops, songs, games, dances, ICT, and psychomotricity. Support for students includes a tutorial action plan, constant communication with families, emotional support, and attention to diversity.

Among the center's services are secretariat and administration, reception and study room, midday space, guidance department, school nursing, cafeteria, and school transport. It offers extracurricular activities in cultural and artistic fields, music, sports, languages, family activities, and faith experiences, as well as summer camps. The center has a quality policy and has internal channels for suggestions, complaints, and acknowledgments.
