Collège Ferdinand De Lesseps

The center offers the French curriculum in Barcelona, from the Toute Petite Section of Maternelle to CM2, covering both the Preschool and Primary stages. The teaching is multilingual: students receive classes in French, English, Spanish, and Catalan. It is defined as a multicultural and multilingual French school, with a secular and humanistic education aimed at developing critical thinking.

Its pedagogical proposal is organized around five axes: languages, sports, new technologies, literature, and culture. The varied and numerous sports activities are presented as a means of personal knowledge and student development; the school implements a digital program throughout the entire schooling; reading is given a significant place to build a literary culture; and a wide cultural offer is provided. The project also emphasizes respect for the rhythms and needs of students and a pedagogy that seeks the pleasure of learning.

The school has a cafeteria service, with menus and adapted menus. Among its improvement initiatives are a school project, the establishment of an inclusive hub, and actions in its facilities, such as the greening of the playground and the rehabilitation of the psychomotricity room. The school has been educating generations of students in the city for over 160 years.
