Cent.prof.mús. Liceu

The Liceu Professional Music Centre is part of the Liceu Conservatory Foundation, a privately owned institution dedicated to music education. The center has a Higher School of Artistic Education, affiliated with the European Higher Education Area (EHEA), offering official bachelor's and master's degrees.

The center's activities are complemented by a stable program of concerts, masterclasses, and its own cycles, among which the Liceu Jazz cycle stands out, featuring performances by groups such as the Liceu Big Band, the Liceu BLAM Collective, and the Liceu Jazz Group, as well as masterclasses led by guest musicians. The center also develops projects like Liceu XXI, Liceu Jove, and Liceu Júnior, and maintains its own library and intranet for its educational community.

In terms of quality, the center has an Internal Quality Assurance System (IQAS) that details the processes for monitoring degrees, reviewed continuously. The Agency for the Quality of the University System of Catalonia (AQU) is responsible for implementing the framework for verification, monitoring, modification, and accreditation (VSMA) of official degrees, in collaboration with the center. The center publishes documents and indicators on the development of its bachelor's and master's degrees.
