The center provides training in cooking, gastronomy, and restaurant services since 1972. Additionally, it offers Medium Degree Vocational Training (CFGM) and Training and Insertion Programs (PFI).
Two simultaneous vocational training programs (Cooking and Restaurant Services) are conducted, in a program oriented to last 3 academic years, aimed at young people over 16 years old with a secondary education diploma or who have passed or validated the entrance exam for Vocational Training.
They are aimed at young people between 16 and 21 years old who finish secondary education and have not accredited the secondary education diploma. The center offers a pathway according to the level and ability of each student to obtain the qualification and/or access the CFGM.
It is a pedagogical restaurant and catering service where students conduct practical classes in different types of service. It offers breakfast, brunch, and lunch service from Monday to Sunday, and opens for dinner every Friday during autumn, winter, and spring.
Internships are mainly carried out at the pedagogical restaurant of the School. There is also collaboration with other companies in the sector to carry out external internships starting from the second year.
The center includes activities of social initiative, theater workshops, physical education or dance, emotional support, and personal work and self-knowledge spaces, film forums and debates, visits, excursions, and monographs, as well as a summer stage.
