Escola Miquel Martí I Pol

Escola Miquel Martí i Pol is a public school in Barberà del Vallès that offers Early Childhood Education (second cycle, from 3 to 6 years) and Primary Education (from 6 to 12 years). Its educational project focuses on accompanying children in their learning for life, starting from a careful look at them and respecting their life processes and developmental stage. It understands boundaries from love and respect, and places the care of individuals as the foundation for emotional security and good coexistence. The school provides time and space for students to discover and develop multiple intelligences: linguistic, logical-mathematical, intrapersonal, interpersonal, naturalistic, musical, spatial, visual, and bodily-kinesthetic.

In the Early Childhood stage, the daily schedule includes a relaxed entry, a group assembly, classroom life with autonomous proposals, breakfast, outdoor space, guided processes (such as musical language and psychomotricity), and a moment of calm before lunch. In the afternoon, students from the three levels of Early Childhood (3, 4, and 5 years) group together and choose from nine different environments over two weeks, allowing them to connect with other adults, peers, and spaces. The school has a cafeteria service. Additionally, 2nd and 3rd grade Primary students have a weekly swimming session during school hours from October to May. A summer camp (casal d'estiu) is also organized with prior registration. The school is close to public transport, including bus and commuter train.
