Llar D'infants Els Putxinel·lis

La Llar d'infants Els Putxinel·lis is a public nursery located in Balaguer, under the administration of the Paeria de Balaguer and supported by the Department of Education of the Generalitat de Catalunya. It is part of the municipal nursery schools of Balaguer and caters to children from 4 months to 3 years old, in the first cycle of Early Childhood Education. This stage is considered fundamental, as subsequent development is based on the experiences that children acquire during these early years.

The center has a team of teachers and educators specialized in the education of the youngest. Its operation is based on teamwork and close communication with families, sharing with them the discoveries and learnings of the children. The educational function is carried out by offering all students the same opportunities, responding to different interests, abilities, and work rhythms, and fostering a love for learning. The methodology follows active and globalizing pedagogy, always keeping play as a central tool for the development of mental structures. Additionally, areas such as plastic expression, art and creativity; habits of autonomy and experience; experimentation, manipulation, and discoveries; and affection, security, socialization, protection, and esteem are worked on.

Regarding services and facilities, the center has a computer room, dining room, and playground. The vehicular language is Catalan, and extracurricular activities are offered.
