A group of former students from the Sant Gervasi school in Barcelona decided to come to Badalona, to Turó del Caritg, to teach catechesis and to teach girls in the area to read and write. The land belonged to Mr. Barriga, who donated it to the nuns to establish a school. The architect Agustí Borrell designed the plans and oversaw the construction.
In 1965, the branch of the Institute was opened, and in 1975, studies in Administrative and Health Vocational Training began. In 1992, the school was restructured to accommodate students from P3. Since 1985, the school began its technological journey with a computer classroom and the incorporation of internet, wifi, cabling, and digital boards.
