Institut Escola Sant Jordi

Institut Escola Sant Jordi is a public center located in Badalona. It provides early childhood education, primary education, compulsory secondary education (ESO), and Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18). It is an "Institut Escola", which allows educational continuity from early years to post-compulsory education.

It has a school cafeteria service, laboratory, library, and instruction in Catalan and Spanish. It has a Parents' Association (AFA) and uses the Dinantia platform for communication with families. The center's documentation and school calendar are available online. The cafeteria service offers menus adapted to different educational stages. At the beginning of the school year, families of early childhood and primary education receive a welcome letter and the school calendar.

The center develops various educational projects and activities. ESO students participate in the Servei Comunitari, a civic engagement project. It also has the Ara Art project, workshops on healthy eating, and sessions on emotional well-being. Activities such as the Cursa Sant Jordi, Dijous Boig for the little ones, and outings to museums, cultural routes, and natural environments are organized. Additionally, reading promotion activities are carried out, such as the reading passport and visits to the library. The youngest are organized into the Comunitat de Menuts. The laboratory is used to conduct experiments and promote research.
