Escola Ventós I Mir

Escola Ventós i Mir is a public center in Badalona that provides Early Childhood Education (second cycle, from 3 to 6 years) and Primary Education (from 6 to 12 years), with Spanish and Catalan as working languages. Its educational project is encapsulated in the motto "a school where one learns to be, to know, to do, and to coexist".

The center offers a dining service, called Espai de Migdia, as well as extracurricular activities and a summer camp. It has a parent association (AFA) and maintains communication channels with families. Throughout the school year, it participates in the Badalona Science Congress, with proposals developed by the students.

Among its pedagogical initiatives, the Consell d'Infants stands out, a participation space where Primary delegates debate and make agreements on various aspects of the school, including the design of common areas. The Setmana Cultural is another recurring activity, which in different editions has adopted formats such as sports and artistic days, with projects chosen by the students (photography, cinema, painting, literature, or dance, among others) and joint center activities, in addition to proposals focused on the environment and the city, such as the Baetulo Celebratio days. The center also works on content related to equality of rights and opportunities and sustainability, and addresses the study of Catalan regions through its traditional bestiary. Additionally, a participatory process of the educational community has been developed to create proposals for the new school.
