Escola Josep Carner

Escola Josep Carner is a public school in Badalona that provides early childhood and primary education. In the early childhood stage, it has groups for I3, I4, and I5, while in primary education, it covers six grades, organized into two lines per level. The school offers a cafeteria service and school transport, as well as extracurricular activities, and it has a family association (AFA). It has an educational project, a linguistic project, and a single fee that includes books and materials.

Throughout the school year, the school develops various activities. Among them, an artistic creation workshop using stop motion technique, where students work in inter-level teams, and a rap workshop. The sixth-grade students have created their own versions of the legend of Sant Jordi and have participated in a radio program for World Radio Day, alongside fifth and sixth-grade students from the reception class. Proposals related to the School Day of Non-Violence and Peace (DENIP) and World Diabetes Day have also been carried out, as well as a Christmas concert, and the school participates in the program promoting the consumption of fruit and milk in schools. At the beginning of the school year, each class group creates a time capsule with an individual wish and a collective one, which is opened at the end of the year.
