About the school
The Escuela Infantil Doctor Tomás Rozas is a public center owned by the Arganda del Rey City Council and regulated by the Public Network of Early Childhood Centers of the Community of Madrid. Previously known as the Municipal School, it provides Early Childhood Education with an educational approach based on personalized care, through a secure affective relationship, as well as trust in the child's competencies, abilities, and skills. The proposals are planned to promote their autonomy, self-awareness, and awareness of the environment, as well as care and acceptance of others.
The center has a dining service and offers school hours from September to July, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with extended hours from 7:30 AM to 9:00 AM and from 4:00 PM to 4:30 PM. It organizes open house days for interested families, and the City Council announces scholarships aimed at its students.
