Escola Marjal - Zer Mediterrània

Escola Marjal is part of the ZER Mediterrània, a school grouping made up of the centers of Les Cases d'Alcanar, Els Muntells, and Poble Nou del Delta. It is a public center located in Alcanar that offers the second cycle of early childhood education (3-6 years) and primary education (6-12 years), with Spanish and Catalan among its languages.

Throughout the school year, the center organizes various activities in which its students participate. Among them, the end-of-year festival stands out, featuring music in Catalan and English, as well as the graduation ceremonies for the I5 students, who complete the early childhood education stage, and for sixth graders, who finish primary education. An end-of-year awards ceremony is also held, and the upper cycle students create and perform plays. The school library, called Biblioteca Marjal, promotes activities and readings through its own mascots.

Additionally, the center develops the School Sailing project with fifth-grade students, an educational and sports experience linked to the maritime environment, and an entrepreneurship fair where fifth graders create and manage their own product. The ZER publishes a magazine that collects the activities and experiences shared throughout the year, and the center informs about the school materials planned for the next academic year.
