Escola L'Àlber

It is a public center in Albesa that provides Early Childhood and Primary Education. It offers the second cycle of Early Childhood Education (from 3 to 6 years old) and the Primary stage (from 6 to 12 years old), and includes English in its educational proposal.

The center participates in the STEAM.CAT project, has its own digital plan, and is affiliated with the Pla Català per l'esport. In addition, it has AFA, the association of families of the center.

The school celebrates each year the Diada de Sant Jordi and the Jocs Florals, as part of the Setmana Cultural. It also organizes the end-of-year festival and the farewell for the 6th-grade students, and the Day of Mother Languages.

Yes. Once again, the middle cycle and upper cycle have gone to camps at the Prades colony house, located in the middle of the Prades mountains.

The students participate in the Trobada Esportiva d'escoles rurals de la Noguera, held in Balaguer, and in the Trobada de Jocs Tradicionals de cicle mitjà. The center also celebrates the Dia de l'Educació Física al carrer (DEFC).

The center conducts reading mentoring sessions and participates in the Certamen de Lectura en Veu Alta de la Noguera, held in Balaguer. Within the 'Autors a les aules' program, students receive visits from authors, such as Pep Molist.
