Seminario San Jerónimo

Seminario San Jerónimo is a private center in Alba de Tormes, in the province of Salamanca, whose governing body is the Congregation of the Heart of Jesus, linked to its founder, Fr. León Dehon. It offers compulsory secondary education (ESO) and Bachillerato (upper secondary, ages 16–18). Among its languages are English and German, the latter offered in 2nd year of ESO. The center has a cafeteria and a computer lab.

It defines itself as a Catholic Church center, open to all, and rejects discrimination in student admission based on social level, economic capacity, place of residence, religious beliefs, political affiliations, or human qualities, with a preference for those in greater need. Its educational project understands educational activity as a realm of evangelization, with religious education taught within the schedule as a fundamental subject, and seeks dialogue between faith and culture, complemented by extracurricular activities that include prayer and sacramental life.

The center employs digital platforms to support study, such as Educamos, Google Classroom, and Google Drive, in addition to a platform for students. It develops activities such as San Jerónimo Cultural, the magazine Crónicas Dehonianas, the press of 4th year of ESO, and the Paseo Solidario SJ in action, as well as graduations of 4th year of ESO and 2nd year of Bachillerato and the publication of news and textbooks. It also has secretarial services and academic offerings.
