Escola Arrels - ZER L'Horta de Lleida

Escola Arrels is a public school located in Els Alamús, integrated into the ZER L'Horta de Lleida, presenting itself as the school of the village. It offers second cycle Early Childhood Education (3-6 years) and Primary Education (6-12 years), with initial, middle, and upper cycles. It has a library, AMPA, school garden, and EVA environment.

Throughout the year, various projects and activities are developed. Students participate in proposals such as "Robots in action!", the entrepreneurship project "Future rural entrepreneurs, the adventure of DOING" and the FER Fair of entrepreneurship. Science workshops on renewable and non-renewable energies are also held, including the construction of a solar oven; the project "The Bees" in the initial cycle; works on organic and geometric shapes from Visual and Plastic Education; a paddle workshop; the project "Olympic School" linked to SDG 3 of health and well-being; activities about fake news; written expression of poetry and letters; Sant Jordi activities in Early Childhood; the Booktubers project; and a bastoners workshop. Additionally, library challenges are carried out.
