Los Pitufos

Los Pitufos is a private early childhood education center located in Cuéllar, in the province of Segovia. It caters to children from 0 to 12 years old, although its main activity is the early childhood education for ages 0 to 3, with classrooms subsidized by the Junta de Castilla y León. The teaching staff consists of teachers specialized in Early Childhood Education. The methodology used is Project-Based Learning (PBL), which allows the acquisition of knowledge and key competencies through projects that address real problems, playing and experimenting.

The facilities include nine classrooms, a multipurpose space, two playgrounds (one outdoor and one indoor), a dining room with a capacity for 100 diners, a ball pit, and a swimming pool. In the 0 to 3 years stage, the classrooms are divided into two groups of 0 to 1 year with 8 babies each; three groups of 1 to 2 years with 13 children each; and three groups of 2 to 3 years, two with 15 children and one with 18. Additionally, English language service is offered.

Available services include early risers, dining room, after-school care, transportation, extracurricular activities, parent school, camps, birthday celebrations, and days without school. The schedule is from Monday to Friday starting at 06:45 hours. The parent school organizes monthly workshops, activities, and talks of interest, open to both families of the center and external individuals.
