EL SAUCE LLORON

It is a public Casa de Niños located in Corpa, the result of collaboration between the Community of Madrid and the City Council. It serves students in the Early Childhood Education stage, specifically the second cycle (ages 3 to 6). It has a cafeteria, school transport, English teaching, and a psychopedagogical office.

The educational program is aimed at both children and the adults responsible for their education, such as mothers, fathers, grandparents, guardians, or caregivers. The work of the Casa de Niños complements the work of families.

Education is conceived as a right for all children without social, ideological, psychological, or physical discrimination, and it should compensate for inequalities and integrate differences. It also enhances the global development of physical, emotional, intellectual, and social capacities and helps children build their own learning.

Each group has an assigned educator who helps children in building knowledge and organizes activities and experiences suitable for the characteristics of their group. The Casas de Niños are grouped into zones, and each zone has a zone director who coordinates the various educational teams.

The participation and collaboration of parents is a priority objective of the program and can be carried out in various ways and to different degrees. It can be direct or indirect, always depending on the availability of the families.

The center has the collaboration of the early attention team from Alcalá de Henares, formed by psychopedagogues, social workers, teachers of hearing and language, and support teachers. Their role is to guide the center and attend to children with special educational needs and their families.
