Institut Neus Català

Institut Neus Català is a public secondary education institute located in the Sant Ildefons neighborhood of Cornellà de Llobregat. It offers ESO from first to fourth year, and Bachillerato. The working languages are Spanish and Catalan.

The center begins the day with a welcoming space: the first ten minutes of each day are dedicated to a different theme, which can range from reading news or stories and observing images to dancing or sports. The class schedule runs from 8:00 AM to 2:40 PM and includes a dining service, with its own coordinator and attention from Monday to Friday in the morning.

In the fourth year of ESO, students can take an artistic pathway, with electives in Music and Performing Arts. These subjects are materialized in activities such as concerts, a winter gala, and a poetic day in Catalan, in addition to musical creation workshops. The institute also prepares and presents its students for the official DELF Scolaire French exam and organizes outings as part of its French program. Additionally, it participates in an Erasmus project focused on linguistic and cultural diversity, with mobility to centers in other European countries. Each school year concludes with the Setmana Cultural, a week of outings, workshops, talks, and cultural activities.
