Escola Abat Oliba

Escola Abat Oliba is a public educational center in Cornellà de Llobregat that provides early childhood education (first and second cycle), primary education, and ESO. In the early childhood stage, students are organized into the groups of petits, mitjans, and grans. Teaching is conducted in Spanish and Catalan, and the center's project is summarized in the motto "Tots Junts Fem Escola". It has the support of a family association (AFA) and offers a school cafeteria service.

Throughout the school year, a variety of complementary activities are developed: workshops on social themes such as bullying, overcoming fears, or peer pressure; plays prepared by the students themselves; a mathematical scavenger hunt in which sixth-grade groups participate alongside secondary schools; experiments in the environmental area; musical activities and sound environments; and storytelling sessions where upper-grade students tell stories to the younger children in early childhood. There are also outings and stays, such as camps for various groups, participation in the Festa del Riu, or athletics Olympics alongside other schools, in addition to visits to nearby heritage sites.

The center also promotes educational community initiatives, such as a second-hand market where families collaborate by donating clothes in good condition.
