Institut Pere Calders

Institut Pere Calders is a public secondary school in Cerdanyola del Vallès, located on the UAB campus, offering compulsory secondary education (ESO) and Bachillerato. It has its own school identity and a level-based organization, with coordinations and tutoring assigned in each ESO course. Among its services, it has a secretary's office, reception, a space for the parents' association (AFA), and the iEduca system, as well as English as a language present in teaching activities. The school publishes evaluation criteria and elective subjects for ESO, the list of textbooks for each course, information on pre-registration and the school calendar, and manages the ecoBooks lending program.

The co-education committee of the institute promotes commemorative activities, such as events for International Women's Day, which have included the creation of a collective mural on the access ramp to the school with the participation of all students. In the academic field, first-year Bachillerato students work on reflection projects about female role models in their environment in their English class. The school has an auditorium where activities and community meetings are held.
