Institut Gorgs

Institut Gorgs is a public school in Cerdanyola del Vallès that offers Compulsory Secondary Education and high school. The center is organized into teaching departments by subjects and offers elective subjects in the fourth year of ESO. Among its facilities, it has a library, cafeteria, and gym, and provides a school transport service and extracurricular activities. Teaching is conducted in Spanish and Catalan, and includes German among its languages.

In the field of languages, the institute is a collaborating center of the Goethe-Institut and supports second-year high school students in taking the official international Goethe-Zertifikat Fit in Deutsch A2 exams. As an optional activity in the second year, an ecological garden is developed where students plant seasonal flowers and take care of the school's garden. The institute uses various digital tools, such as iEduca, Moodle, and Classroom, in addition to resources from the XTEC.

The center participates in entrepreneurship projects, such as the Cerdanyola Talent Factory, and in exchanges and mobilities within the Erasmus+ program, hosting students from other countries who have language partners among the institute's students. High school students participate in the Debate League organized by a university. It has a parent association (AFA) and uses a textbook reuse platform to reduce family expenses and care for the environment.
