Escola Les Fontetes

Escola Les Fontetes is a public school in Cerdanyola del Vallès that provides early childhood and primary education. The early childhood stage is organized into two cycles, the first from 0 to 3 years and the second from 3 to 6, while primary education is structured into initial, middle, and upper cycles. The school presents itself under a motto that links the school with art, and among its facilities, it includes spaces such as the laboratory and the art classroom. Throughout the school year, the center develops various artistic and cultural activities. Students participate in the Jocs Florals, in a drawing contest organized by the Associació de Veïns de les Fontetes, and in manual work to decorate the hallways and spaces of the center. There is also a reading mentorship program, where students from higher grades read stories to younger ones, and a cultural week with workshops, one of which was dedicated to the circus. Outings include the Tibidabo amusement park and musical shows like La Clika, a project that brings music and performing arts closer to second-grade students. Additionally, the center receives visits such as that of Mag Or and celebrates Carnival with dances from each class and a representation of the faculty, as well as end-of-year parties, with performances by students at the Teatre Ateneu and the water party.
