Cent.prof.mús. El Musical

El Musical is a private center for music education and research located in Cerdanyola del Vallès, with over 30 years of experience in teaching music. It is authorized by the Departament d'Ensenyament de la Generalitat de Catalunya as a music school and as an authorized center for Professional Music Degree, and also as an authorized center to provide ongoing training recognized by the Departament d'Educació. Its educational project is organized into three main areas.

The first, non-formal education, corresponds to the music and dance school: it ranges from gestation, with a program for pregnant women and babies from 4 to 16 months, programs for children from 1 to 6 years, elementary level from 7 years old and also for adults, and a middle level with free choice of subjects. The second, formal education, is the Professional Music Degree, which can be accessed through an exam starting at age 11 and leads to an official qualification. The third focuses on supporting professionals in the sector through Continuing Education, with seminars, courses, and working groups, and includes subsidized courses for companies and courses recognized by the department. The center has differentiated virtual campuses for the Elementary Level, the Professional Degree, and Continuing Education.

Among its activities are a concert cycle with the Trio Arriaga, the Sextet Con Anima, a participatory orchestra night, and a concert by students from the chamber music course, as well as an intensive chamber music course and jam sessions. It also offers a certificate in Jaques-Dalcroze rhythmics, music and early childhood days, and musical resources for the classroom. Its services include a student card, a monthly newsletter, and a welcoming families program. The secretariat's office hours are Monday to Friday from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM.
