Escola Dos Rius - ZER El Jonc

Escola Dos Rius is part of the Rural School Zone (ZER) El Jonc, which groups three schools located in Menàrguens, Camarasa, and La Ràpita. Escola Dos Rius is the public center in Camarasa integrated into this ZER.

The center provides Early Childhood Education, with the first cycle (0-3) and second cycle (3-6), and Primary Education (6-12). The language of the center is Catalan.

The students of Early Childhood and initial cycle participate in the project Robots en acció!, an initiative that connects robotics, computational thinking, and challenge-based learning. In the case of Escola Dos Rius, this activity has been linked to the work on hygiene habits and body care developed in the areas of Physical Education and Knowledge of the Natural and Social Environment.

Students from upper cycles have participated in scientific workshops framed within the Setmana de la Ciència, promoted by the Direcció General de Recerca i Universitats. These workshops were held at the school in Camarasa.

The ZER organizes coexistence outings, such as the visit to the salt mines of Cardona, in which students from the middle cycle and upper cycle participated. During the outing, other activities were also carried out in the afternoon.

The ZER is part of the Centres en Dansa per la Inclusió program. The three schools of the ZER have carried out, at different levels, activities planned in the program.
