About the school

Escola Torrent de Can Carabassa is a public center located in the Horta-Guinardó district of Barcelona. It offers the second cycle of Early Childhood Education (3-6 years), Primary (6-12), Secondary Education (12-16), and Baccalaureate (16-18), and provides the International Baccalaureate. Among its services and facilities, it includes a cafeteria, school transport, early bird service, extracurricular activities, swimming pool, library, sports complex, football field, and gym. Regarding languages, the center works with Spanish, Catalan, English, French, and Chinese.

The center develops the Modelatge 0-6 project, which aims to provide continuity and coherence to the schooling of children from 0 to 6 years through joint work with the Bressol school and the Infant and Primary school, understanding modeling as a source of learning between both stages. This project was recognized in the second edition of the Premis Barcelona Innovació Educativa 2019, in the District category.

The center maintains blogs by educational levels, as well as spaces dedicated to management, the library, music, and English.
