Escola Montigalà

Escola Montigalà is a public center for early childhood and primary education, with a single line, located in the Montigalà neighborhood of Badalona. It presents itself as a family-oriented, open, and participatory school, where the entire educational community is a fundamental part, and it has participation bodies such as the Children's Council and the Delegated Families Council.

In its educational practice, it emphasizes cooperative work, language practice, and hands-on learning. It also considers emotional education, using art as a tool for expression, and attention to diversity.

It offers early childhood education stages (first cycle, 0-3, and second cycle, 3-6) and primary education (6-12), in Spanish and Catalan. Among its services, it provides a school cafeteria, with assistance processed through the Metropolitan Area of Barcelona, and extracurricular activities, and it has an AMPA and a digital learning environment based on Moodle. Throughout the school year, various activities and outings are organized, such as participation in the cantata "El meu cos" at the Teatre Condal, visits to the Museu Marítim de Barcelona, maintaining a school garden, or celebrating the Diada de Sant Jordi.
