La Casa Mágica

La Casa Mágica is a private nursery school in Almería, located in the Centro-Este district, catering to the first cycle of Early Childhood Education, for ages 0 to 3 years. It is defined as a bilingual center: its methodology is taught in English and Spanish, with daily activities guided by a teacher specialized in the youngest children. The introduction to English is worked through games and songs, to familiarize children with the sounds, pronunciation, and rhythms of the language.

The center offers a wide schedule, from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with personalized hours aimed at facilitating family and work balance. It has a morning classroom starting at 7:30 AM, a dining room with adapted menus, early stimulation, new technologies, a school for parents, and psychological support. Among its services are also extracurricular activities and school transportation, and it teaches Spanish and English. Its facilities are spacious and filled with natural light, including an outdoor patio of 140 m2, a computer room, pinch-proof doors, and a digital blackboard.

Its educational project seeks the integral development of students, respecting their rhythms and needs, and promotes the creative development of their physical, emotional, social, and intellectual capacities. It works with active methodologies based on projects, discovery learning, cooperative and experiential learning, and positive discipline, starting from the individuality of each child and their developmental progress under the idea of "learning through play." Collaboration and communication with families are fundamental for the center, which advocates for a family-oriented and direct approach with parents. La Casa Mágica is affiliated with the Junta de Andalucía and its grant program to assist families. The application period for enrollment opens in April for the school year starting in September; if this deadline is exceeded and there are vacancies, applications can be submitted during an extraordinary admission period.
