Francisco De Goya

CEIP Francisco de Goya is a public school in Almería that offers Early Childhood Education (second cycle), Primary Education, and Compulsory Secondary Education. Teaching is conducted in Spanish.

Throughout the year, the school organizes numerous complementary activities. Among the outings and visits are excursions to natural environments such as Balsa del Sapo, Toyo Aventura, and Fondón, as well as visits to the University of Almería, the Science Park of Granada, the Cervantes Theater, MiniHollywood, the Los Ángeles library, and the flamenco club El Taranto, in addition to a study trip. It also celebrates days linked to significant events, such as World Book Day, Peace Day, Andalusia Day, International Women's Day, International Day of Women and Girls in Science, Writers' Day, Poetry Day, Carnival, Christmas, and Halloween, along with others related to the environment, autism, bullying, and gender violence.

The school develops training workshops for students and teachers in areas such as first aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation, occupational risk prevention, postural and oral hygiene, road safety education, internet risks, healthy lifestyle habits, composting, and recycling. It also carries out projects and proposals such as studying the solar system, the human body, or the relief of Spain, activities like an escape room on the SDGs and a board game day, and participates in external educational initiatives and awards. The offer is completed with the enrollment process, the awarding of bands to students finishing their stage, and the improvement of facilities, such as the installation of awnings in the preschool playground.
